Maharishi Gandharva Veda music improves
memory and learning
This is the headline of an article in the new issue of the US-magazine
ENLIGHTENMENT, which is distributed worldwide.
It says: "Deborah Swartz, an eighth-grade student at Maharishi
School of the Age of Enlightenment recently won a top award at the
Eastern Iowa Science and Engineering Fair. She compared the effects
of Maharishi Gandharva Veda music with the music of Mozart."
"Previous studies have documented improvement in short-term
memory from listening to Mozart - described as the "Mozart
Effect". Her research showed that the average individual test
score improved by 16 percent after listening to Mozart, and by 36
pecent after listening to Maharishi Gandharva Veda music."
